Over the last 5 years, I have learned that not only is each person different, but the needs of each session are different.
Taking the time at the beginning of each session to check in is important to making sure you get what you need.
Below  you will see an array of techniques and modalities used in my sessions.  Each modality is like a different language, a different way of communicating with the body's tissue, but all modalities have one thing in common. They all talk of communication with the body on a cellular level. Hardly ever is there a session in which I use only one modality. Instead, I prefer to create a composition of both the ancient techniques and modern modalities. In addition to  alleviating pain from repetitive stress and acute injuries, session are geared towards re-establishing continuity and strengthening the body's core-to-extremity relationship.

Techniques Used in Treatment sessions:

NueroMuscularReprogramming
NMR sessions are geared to tune-up the body and increase communication between the body and mind with muscle activation and coordination techniques

Myofascial Release Technique
Myofascial tissue is structured in a web and is continuous throughout the body. It wraps around every muscle fiber, bundle, and even groups of muscles. It even wraps around our bones and organs. Myofacial Release Techniques are used to break up adhesions and scar tissue and increase circulation.

Joint Mobilization
Joint Mobilization is designed to work with the webbing, cartilage, and tendons close to the bone. This work is slow and effective in regaining freedom in the joints throughout the body.

Acupressure

In the traditional Chinese view of the body, energy lines called meridians run through the body and give the body "life force." This is similar to how the cardiovascular system gives the body nutrients and remove toxins. When there is too much energy collected in one area or there is a lack of energy, dysfunction is the result.

Trigger point
Trigger points are contractions (knots) that develop in muscle when it is injured or has been overused. Trigger point therapy is designed to allow these contractile units to release and relax.

Touch for health
This is an interactive therapy that is designed to help with not only physical aches and pains, but also mental strain and coordination dysfunctions.

Things that make you go "mmmmmm...."
